With such a large beautiful room, I would move your seating arrangement away from the walls.

Hi. I can't tell exactly in the photos how the other side of the room ends. Does it go into the dining room? If you can decide how you want to use the space, it will help to know how to furnish it. Do you need more seating for conversation, do you want a reading area or want to divide the room with some type of divider?
It looks like your TV is across from the sofa. I like the sofa where you have it. If you want more conversation seating and you have room to set up two areas (one being with the sofa), I would move the love seat to the other side and put it with a chair or two if you have room. Depending on where the entrance is to the room, you could place the love seat facing away from the sofa area and use it as a divider, but it depends on where you enter the room. I like rooms to look inviting when you enter and not have a back of a sofa or love seat facing the entrance. If you move the love seat, I would add a chair on each side of the sofa for your conversation and TV area. It also looks like you need some lighting. A good rule is 3 sources of light. So maybe tables with lamps and/or a modern floor lamp would look nice.
If you want to divide the space, you could get an open divider from Ikea that could be used for books and/or decor. Or another divider option would be to use a large padded bench which could be used for seating to face either side of the space. Or you could place the buffet type cabinet you have in your living area by the stairs as a divider and put the love seat on the back side of the buffet, so the buffet faces the other side of the room and the love seat faces the sofa area. You could put a lamp on it and other decor items. Add a few pillows for some pops of color.
