blinds on older windows

We just finished a remodel and we're low in budget so we're not in a position to replace windows right now. However we need window treatments and I'm thinking cheaper blinds as a stop gap until we can replace windows. Or would we be able to repurpose blinds from old windows to new windows? Thanks so much for any advice/insight?

If your new windows are going to be the same size as the old, you can use the same blinds. If you want temporary blinds, check out your local Habitat for Humanity ReStore. They usually have lots of blinds for $5-$20 each.
