Landscape for Converted garage

Converting garage into living space and would like help with landscape ideas. Driveway will be cut back and fill dirt brought in. Replacing siding, adding cedar shakes in gable above windows and also adding faux gable to left of house. Ripped out most old shrubs/bushes but left hopps to grow on arbor. Along right side of walkway white peonies are planted. Any ideas on how to make the front more appealing and

not make it look like we converted the garage into living space. Walkway will also be extended to driveway with maybe pavers? We live in zone 4B

How about evergreens for year-round color, with bulb plants interspersed to bloom in shifts throughout the season?

Would you do a raised bed in front? What do you think about window boxes?

Unless you build another garage with a driveway to it, the driveway to nowhere will always shout "garage".

yes, we have a two-car garage built behind the house with an extended driveway. The converted garage to family room has the old driveway running into it. Trying to decide whether to tear out concrete in front of it or build a structure on top of concrete, such as a planter. Also thinking of incorporating a privacy screen and/or walkway to disguise the conversion. It's a MCM. Thoughts?

tear out drive cement when no garage .. leave only a parking area deep enough for one car / side by side 2 possibly . .

I know this is a super old post but I'd love to see the progress/after! I am about to embark on the same process with curb appeal and my house looks very similar to yours with the converted garage and long walkway to front door.
