As a homeowner, you can expect clear, concise communication during the design-build process. To assist you in better understanding this process, we have prepared the following step-by-step guideline.
•Consultation Call
During this conversation, we will discuss your needs. We will ask a series of questions to determine your remodeling goals and timeline. At the end of this chat, if it seems like we are a good fit for each other, we will schedule an in-home visit to gather more details.
•In-Home Visit
At the in-home visit, we will meet with you to review your objectives in greater detail. We will be able to develop a better understanding of the challenges you may be experiencing with your existing space. We will walk with you around the home, review your timeline, discuss your budget, and answer any questions you may have.
•Written Proposal
Following the in-home consultation, if you choose to proceed, we will develop a written proposal which defines the scope of the project, a budget, as well as the services which will be provided.
•Construction Contract
After finalizing, we will present you with our construction contract specifications. Once the construction contract is approved, we will prepare to commence work.
•Construction
During construction, we make every effort to maintain our schedule and communicate with you weekly about the status of your project. You can expect us to clean our work areas at the end of each day ensuring that dust and debris around your home are kept to a minimum.
•Warranty
Congratulations! The work is complete and you are living in your beautiful, new living space, comforted by the knowledge that J. D. Stipa, Inc. offers a one year warranty on our work. Should any issues arise within the first year following the project’s completion, contact us immediately and we will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.
