Interior or exterior?

Both!

You could wait a few years. Most wood lightens over time. The oil finishes used on most wood products produce an "orange" ambering effect = darker. Most wood (not all...cherry gets darker) will lighten as light is forced onto the wood.

A "clear coat" (water based finish without ambering side effects) will allow the logs to stay light and lighten EVEN FASTER! If you don't want dark(er) orange logs then work with a clear coat. If it is too late then the easiest answer is to wait.

Any other option = plenty of materials = plenty of labour = plenty of money.
