Yes,Rina, I love that breathless Blush. It presses that Want NOW Button.

Here are some that have bloomed. I have a wad of them for consumption.

    A rebutia

    Another ladyfinger.

Opuntia macrocentra. I really like this shot.

    Escobaria sneedii var leei

This lacey cactus looks so sweet BUT.......

She is soon to be history . The party has arrived and they are crazzy for that pollen. The bees are flying around looking like blonde teddybears. I never knew that bees had blue eyes.

I passed by her a hour later and she had been DEFLOWERED. hehehehehehe

While we are focused on bugs , the sister of the next flower got hit really bad. You can see her off to the side, but her sister seemed to get some lazy sleepy drunks. I was fearful for her but they barely moved.

The morning after and they are still asleep and the flower is still with us. I wonder if there is a difference in the nectar or a difference in the bee to get such different behavior.

OOPs she lucked out with a tiny native bee.

I like those graptopetalum types, rina. I have one, too.

nanzjade, your moonstones look great in that pot. So cute together.

Your Graptopetalum photo is puzzling; the flower is close to G. superbum but the plant looks more like G. paraguayense. My photo is of G. superbum and is blooming now. Yale

It is possible that it has been misidentified...I bought it without any id and posted here. The flowers are more yellow than yours. Here is the photo of the rosette and some more flowers:

The center of the bloom and tips of petals are much more red on your flowers.

Some of my flowers for the month.

To start with, my oldest cactus that I've had for about 20 years (I think it is a Rebutia).

Next Chamaelobivia (Rose Quartz) which I bought a month ago at Home Depot as I can't pass up a cool cactus with flowers coming.

    And last Silver Squill

Finally, one of the buds has opened - e. purpusorum

Two Pseudolithos mccoyi, the smaller one in flower, the larger one with buds :) I'm kind of worried about the smaller one drying out, but these are so rot prone so I've been trying to find a good balance.

update: my larger P. mccoyi now has 26 flower buds!! :-)

Pseudolithos cubiformis - had four flowering sites, but I had to remove two due to rot. Currently re-growing a flower site and pushing out new buds!!

Euphorbia ankarensis - has bloomed continuously since I received it. First, it only put out male flowers. This first round of May flowers is completely monoecious instead!!

Dorstenia foetida - many new flowers are coming in!

Senecio scaposus var. addoensis - my favorite senecio, somewhat sun-damaged but with new healthy leaves and its first bloom stalk

Pseudolithos mccoyi update: first open flower!! :-)

I've lost count of the number of buds on this plant. Last count was 38? 41?

First open bloom!! 6 or 8 more should open tomorrow or Tuesday

Black flower - wow...post when more open please.

Thanks Rina! :-) will do! I think the lighting of the picture made it appear completely black (my bad, it fully opened around 8pm so no light!), but these flowers are a dark red wine color in the sunlight. When I get home today I will check to see if it has blossomed more! :-)
