Measure your shelves in the Elfa. Go on-line and read the measurements for the Algot. See if they will work just by looking at the measurements. Measurements will be listed as L x W x H. If the numbers 'look' like they will fit then you can go ahead and ask an Ikea associate to confirm your measurements.

No they are absolutely not compatible. IKEA is not likely to know this nor is container store & it has nothing to do with measurements. The shelf/basket brackets click into the wall standards in a totally different way. Elf a prongs poke into the front of the standards algot pokes into the sides. I know this because I have both! I got all the way home from IKEA with loads of algot but missing a few critical pieces so I was hoping to sub leaf or closetmaid or Rubbermaid but nope!
