Love the orange, but perhaps consider removing the patterned panels. Or, leave them at the ends, but remove them from the middles. You really don't need quite as much drapery on each window, just enough for double fullness for the width of each when closed.

Try a floral pattern rug in multi-colors that have some of your curtain color, as well as pops of other colors. Resist the urge to add so many colors to the space that it looks too fragmented.

I think the windows are a bit heavily dressed. I would pick another curtain with mild pattern in it (with the color that you like in it). All of the dark brown couches are making the room appear dark. I've learned over time that using the same couch and loveseat can really limit a space's potential. Do you happen to have extra chairs in another room? Maybe something that coordinates that can replace the loveseat or recliner?

Print patter is GREAT...if you can i'd (1) change the round coffee table for something that's a rectangle or an ottoman (2) change the vertical blinds in front of the door to outside - maybe add teh same rod and the curtain that match, (3) I'd remove the carpet and see if you can do wood floors, or a carpet that's a thinner weave type rug (4) also maybe a round painted end table maybe white with a lamp that matches your theme ...orange base with a white shade or an orange table with a white lamp base and orange shade...(5) lastly - i'd change the center hanging fixture...something like a ceiling fan with lights or something that's longer or larger to hold the space of the room

Orange is my favorite color and it is a fun color! Both pictures are a
great change but I would pick the pattern because it makes the room
lighter. Maybe another type of ceiling light.
