Did you use a stain or paint? Did you use a sealer at the end? Lastly, did you spray it or use a Roller/brush? Thanks so much.

It was an oil based paint, not latex.
Glossy, or you could do semi-glossy.
When the floor eventually dulls some, you can put a commercial grade sealer, redo as needed.
It was applied with a roller.
One more note, I wanted a true old world effect, hence no grout. The paint seeps in between the tiles and of course that is what you want.

I have 1100 sq ft of salillo tiles that were painted and glazed prior to installation. Now, 30 years later the paint is peeling and there's scuff marks. What is the easiest way to prepare floor for new paint. I used Jasco stripping product to strip kitchen walkway old paint and it was toxic experience and took a long time. See both pictures. Can I sand tiles? Or just prime them and then paint with your BMoore nightshade? Any other options. Thx, Pat

Grafcus, did you ever end up painting your Saltillo tile? If so, what did you do?

Grafcus, I don't have any experience with that, but I wonder if an electric sander would do the tric. then you could repaint.
