Just talk to them and see what your options are. The trims are sold separately from the cans. Who picked out/determined the Kelvin temp rating for the lights? You may be able to get them exchanged with no additional charge or may have to pay a restocking fee.

thanks! I just talked to our contractor and he said the LEDs come in 3 flavors and we have the middle one and that he puts these in every house and everyone loves them. I think we have a very small space and too many lights to have the middle ones. He gave us the name of the supplier where he got them from and told us to stop into the shop and check out the dimmest one that has a warmer glow. I'm excited to see that one.

Sounds like you need to change the bulbs to one that is not as white a light. I know they come in different brightness levels. Should be an easy fix.
