Need HELP

I am purchasing this condo and I love beaut real colors. Any suggestions on what color to paint these walls? As you can see with the fan picture, the ceilings can be high in some areas. Maybe an idea on painting the kitchen cabinets as well? The view looking up at the fan is from downstairs in the kitchen , up into the bedroom loft. The stairs take you up, of course. Any help would be great. Also, maybe one wall darker? Thank you!!!

I'm sorry. I like neutral colors.

Weird, on my monitor everything in your house is showing pinkish-orange. Is that correct?

olldbobbi - the pics show the same color on my monitor.

    Crystal - great suggestions.

Karina - Beautiful condo! Congratulations! I agree w/Crystal - it is hard to suggest paint colors w/out knowing what you plan to do w/the condo when you move in. If you could share some pictures of (or describe) the furniture, accessories & rugs you plan to bring to the condo, that would help.

I would love to show you some photos. I sold all my stuff, so I will be starting from scratch. Yes, the pictures are a bit pinkish. There are HUGE windows above kitchen that are slanted and tinted already, so it tends to make the colors look different. I would have to say I love the abalone color and the gray with the brownish tint, that were suggested to me. And then I will paint the kitchen cabinets white. I'm super excited, but of course I don't move in for a couple of months. I will do it slowly but surely. Thanks!

Starting from scratch + months of time...that's fantastic!! Lots of time to peruse Houzz and plan. I see you got lots of great advice on your other thread.

If you have the budget, I'd definitely suggest hiring an interior designer - they can really make the process a lot easier & often times can save you time and money. They have access to trade-only resources, product discounts and already know other professionals in your area such as carpenters and painters.

If that is not in your budget, then you could try some of the room planners that are available, including olioboard.com - which is a pretty easy site to use to do room planning. Here is a list of some more free online room planners from freshome.com -- http://freshome.com/2010/08/18/10-best-free-online-virtual-room-programs-and-tools/

Good luck & let us know how it goes! If I can help you find any products, please don't hesitate to ask. You can find me around Houzz, facebook or twitter!

OK, so far this is what has transpired. As you can see more work needs to be done and I have not painted the kitchen cabinets. Everyone tells me not to. The stairs have been re carpeted and the living room I still need to add and delete some pieces. As for the breakfast nook, I'm still dumbfounded. Any suggestions or comments?

Btw, I had to paint the brick floors after stripping them because they were mid matched in color in different areas. Also, the paint color is lighter than I wanted.
