Crossed amaryllis blooming

These are all from seeds that dondeldux sent to me.

The two pictures of Exotica x Mocca are of the same bulb. I was amazed that the bulb sent up two scapes, both with four flowers, at the same time.

A handful of the Charisma x selfed bloomed again for the second time this year but this bulb bloomed for the first time and I sort of like its appearance!

Sorry about the wetness. I was hoping for dryer weather but Ana is churning offshore so there may be rain for a while yet.

Holy frig. I saw another flower bud coming out of the leaves so I thought, "I'm gonna see what another Exotica x Mocca bulb looks like!" but when I pulled the leaves back, it turns out the same bulb is squeezing out a third scape! For its first time, it's really going all out!

Thanks for posting!! So glad you've had some success and you're much better at bringing my seedlings to bloom than I am! Send some of Ana's rain our way, we're already In drought mode and after that winter!!

Hello, thank you for sharing! The "Ebay Cross" is particularly attractive. Many Hybrids with more white than red on their "face" tend to have little color on their back surface, but your seedling shows excellent, netted venation there. The "Charisma" seedling is a beauty, too, and if the edges of the floral segments become even some more frilly while the flower ages, then it qualifies for a stunner too. Kind regards from Germany!

Thank you everyone, I'll take just a smidgen of the glory. ;-) the real glory goes to the one who can bring seeds to bloom, pollinating is the easy part!

The first photo definitely favors her mom with a little more veining. Both the parents were fragrant, so yours should have been too, was it? I don't see any of the dad's genes though...

Fellow Houzz members, When is it a good time/price/company to get amaryllis? I like the red and orange amaryllis.
