It is a Dura Supreme hood from their Crestwood line. It is a cherry wood species with a mocha finish. Here is the Dura Supreme website for more information - http://www.durasupreme.com/

This is beautiful! May I ask, what are the dimensions of the island (I am trying to judge how much linear footage and depth one would need for those same two pendants, which are great! And what kind of wood is the island top (what finish; how treated?) I would love to do just that -- even the exact same color, because it seems to best material "look" given our existing perimeter of our kitchen and some limitations because of that... .

But, since we are only renovating our island, and we need to keep our main sink in the island, (a large farm sink), I am concerned that it could be ruined by excessive exposure to water, dishsoap, etc., and a busy active family, lots of entertaining, and dishwashing, etc.... :( What is your advice! I wonder if they make very hardy surfaces and finishes for such things? (LOVE IT! Congrats!)

@lisabaney, the top is 52 1/2" x 71" and is 60mm thick. It is dark chocolate beech with hand rubbed oil finish. I think I answered your sink question on another photo, but if you have any others please let me know. Thanks for your interest!
