Hawaiian appliqué pillow

My daughter picked out the fabric and pattern for this last January when we were on the Big Island. It is hand sppliqued and machine quilted. It looks much better finished because you don't noti the flaws so readily.

That's very beautiful, Fran. The green and blue of Hawaii... perfect. I have a Hawaiian block to appliqué, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Someday...

Very pretty! You did a great job. I love Hawaiian applique but have only done one block LOL.

Nice! Just got an Hawaiian Quilting book at the second hand book store to try an appliqué out after I get a few things completed.

Wonderful pillow.I like the green/blue and Hawaiian pattern. Years ago,I tried one of these designs and appliqued it onto a background. I did make a pillow from it but not sure what happened to it. I really enjoyed doing it,,,,not sure why I never tried another.

Beautiful. The one I started in my first ever quilt class is yet to be completed. That's only about 20 years ago :-)
