Conversion of a Toronto Loft Kitchen

Before and after pictures where I revamped a very basic builders kitchen on a Shoe String Budget. The money was spent on the custom Island and Quartz countertop.

Being that polished concrete is cold as is Toronto...is it a popular choice for flooring?

The island was the most expensive part of the kitchen because the cabinets were custom made and the quartz tops were not only just on the top of the island but also ran down each end of the island to the floor (adding a fair bit of cost). The whole project including appliances and labour still came in under 20K.
