Based on the image you provided, I would place the tv on one end of the cabinet and slightly angled and the two birds on the other side. If it seems to heavy, maybe remove one of the birds. Than I would add a mirror over the cabinet and artwork flanking each side. Good luck!

Do you have a mirror in the room? If not, consider hanging a nice full length mirror to the right of the dresser. I really like your dresser and birds. :-)

I have a couple ideas...
Is it possible to treat your monitor as a wall mount? If so, an extension cable can give you extra reach, then your dresser could hold just the birds and maybe a guest room amenities basket. A block of colour, such as a brighter cream to coordinate with your curtains could add oomph to your space and give the whole setting a larger presence to balance the whole room, without adding a lot of stuff.
