Thanks. We have talked about putting it on the larger wall. Also, the room is 27 feet long not 16 1/2 and 13.7 feet wide.

I like the ideas you have in your idea book for the living room. The room sounds big enough to divide, depending on the sectional if you're set on that. The TV area (agreed it would be good along the long wall), then a long piece of furniture to divide the room, then maybe a small seating area or a game table or something? That would allow you to keep the cozy vibe from your ideabooks and still utilize the space.

Here's a real quick layout with a sectional just to give you a visual. You may want to reconsider based on the size of the sectional. Once you get your layout you should think about what style you are trying to achieve.

I would use the pictures from Houzz and create an idea book.

the dining table is far from the kitchen here. I would flip it, and put the tv on the other wall. otherwise you will always be looking at the side of the tv when entering.

I agree with you. The dining room is actually more to the left of this picture. The area in the picture I posted is the entire den/living room. My kitchen,bar and den are not separated but over to the left with their own space. Thank you for your input. I greatly appreciate your suggestions.
