Quick curtain opinion!!!

*side note-I am going to move my curtain rod up to ceiling height* My husband wants me to do 4 panels for these windows...one in between each window. I posted a sample below (minus one missing panel). Some of my family members think I should just do 2 panels...one on each side (another sample below). Which one should I do?

If they’re always going to remain open, then I would do 2. If you actually pull them closed in evenings, I would do 4, so that they still have some folds in them while closed.

I think it would look great with 4 panels! It seems to offer a nice balance in your space.

Since you do not need privacy, I would not have any curtains covering any part of those beautiful windows! Curtains are sometimes needed just to add interest to a plain room, but not in this case!

I vote 4! I think in the first picture it just looks like something is missing. I don't think there's a right or wrong, it's probably just personal preference!

I like it better with panels between each window - the windows are a nice size but just have drywall in between, not great trim that you would want to highlight. I think the panels make them look more elegant and pulled-together. But! You say that you plan to move the rods higher - the panels currently just reach the floor which is perfect, but if you move the rods up and don't lengthen the panels you will have a highwater look.

I agree with not putting up curtains. Your room will look large without the curtains. The two options I would have are; one frame the windows with molding, or two hide the top with a valance.

How much distance is between your windows? We have a similar setup, with 13" between. We put up 4 panels and scrunched them so they do not cover up any of the windows. I would have hung them slightly lower but the rod was already there from other curtains.
I vote for 4 panels or no panels. Nice space, BTW :-)

I would stay with two panels. Given the width of the wall, four panels would be a bit too much. And it would block out some light.

Four, but not so bunchy and maybe heavier with print or solid color. The wispy ones don't say much.

A tall box valance to cover the rod and bunch would look great. You probably don't need to move the curtains up then.

I love using curtains to create rhythm - I'd go for a panel between each window.

One panel on each wall space. Keep then very narrow. To the ceiling is good. Buy a soft linen. Could go a color or pattern. To bring in interest. What is your accent color? If you don't want color, go 2 shades darker than wall color. What you are show is doing nothing for window.

I don't see pattern in the rest of the room from the photos you posted, so pattern in the curtains would be nice. What you have selected is nice looking. How do the colors go with your walls and rug though?

If you want curtains, I would do one width on each section or double widths on the ends. Your window is much too wide for a single width on each end. They would look skimpy that way--IMHO.
