That's a great question. The differences might be a little more difficult to see in this particular product so I am attaching an image which may show the differences between the bronze finishes better.

The German Bronze is going to look more like an antique brass finish and not much like bronze. Oil Rubbed Bronze is very smooth, many people compare it to a chocolate color. Then there is Tuscan Bronze, the bronze is definitely dark however it has some of the brass highlights showing through giving it personality. I hope this helps.
