older liftmaster. model 1040? has red, blk, yellow terminals. no white terminal. i have an aftermarket transmitter/receiver which has white, blk, red wires. anyway to hook up the remote to this opener? i do have a liftmaster remote which i have no idea where it came from. the opener has a green button with a flashing led. anyway to make the liftmaster remote work with the liftmaster opener? am i close?
