I need help planting my self contained septic drain field

I have a new septic system that has been placed on my property and the drain field is actually 3 very large cement boxes buried half way in the ground and half out of the ground, then covered with sand at a 3-1 angle. I need help figuring out what I can plant on these mounds of sand, can I put root barrier cloth on the sand and put dirt over that and then plant? Help please.
