Need help with drapery support

Hi everyone. My apartment-to-be has an 8 ft wide sliding door that goes from ceiling to floor. This means that there’s no place to put a support rod to support the drapery rod except in the ceiling, which is cement. Anyone else have this problem and were they able to successfully mount a support rod in a cement ceiling?

I lived in a condo with concrete walls. You can drill into them and mount rods with the right equipment - a heavy duty drill and a drill bit made for concrete. You might be able to mount the rod into the door frame.

Ask other people in the building what they have done.

The support rod you're talking about is the middle one, correct? If you use a thick/heavy enough rod, you should be able to get away w/o a middle rod, I'd think.
