Guava Plant Dropping Leaves At Alarming Rate

I bought a grafted guava tree recently (online). It came after having been wrapped up in a card board box for three days.

I repotted it with a mixture of potting soil, vermicompost and a small amount of neem fertilizer (slow release). It's been three days. In the last 24 hours, I have seen three leaves go from healthy to crisp, shriveled and completely dead.

I put it in the sun for a few hours on the second day, and it has been inside ever since, though in a bright enough area during the day. Temperatures are not a problem, night time temperature is around 80F and day time is around 95 (in shade). I have not been exposing to sun because day time temperatures in the open are easily 100-105F and the plant undertook an arduous three day journey through Fedex.

I have watered thoroughly, but last 24 hours have not seen any watering as it was in the shade.

Please help, it's scary how quickly a healthy leaf goes from green and pliant to dead and crisp!
