i voted double oven but really i have 2 single ovens, one in my baking center and one opposite the island cooktop. its surprising how often i use both.

As an apartment dweller a countertop over is suffice. We hardly use an actual oven anyways.

I agree with Ann, it's really difficult to cook Thanksgiving dinner (or for a crowd) with only one oven. I dream of having a double wall oven, though I probably wouldn't use it except when entertaining.

smileyface you only think you wouldnt use it much...... but thats because in your head you are always saying 'well if i am making x for dinner then i cannot make y also'. i discovered that having 2 ovens changes the math. if i want to bake cornbread for dinner and i'm doing oven fried chicken, no problem that they require two temps cuz i have two ovens.

nnigrt, I have to agree with you, I thought of that just after I posted, lol. I love to cook, and I never make hot appetizers. I know I would if I had the 2 ovens, and home made breads, and lots of things. You are absolutely right. That would be so much fun.

Thank you for all your responses! I agree that is would be much more convenient when cooking for a group of people. I will have to think about if it is worth having two ovens if I will only use it a few times a year.

What about a wall oven and a wall microwave/convection combo mounted one above the other? just enough extra oven without being an entire oven that doubles as a microwave...

Just saw this in the store the other day and it is top of the line! Time to upgrade to The oven of your dreams!

We have the double. We prefer the convenience of two to only one when we have family dinners.
