I don't think it is antique. Is very similar to pieces made by British Traditions in Missouri.

This one if from Arhaus and looks more antique than the the one you have posted. $1,295 seems like a reasonable retail price.

I was also thinking that while it is a very pretty piece, it does not appear to be antique. I bought one very similar at a yard sale for $20 (25 years ago) and used it as a sink vanity in my other house.

This looks like it was made from reclaimed wood. Pricey too.

Lots of dealers in the USA receive shipments of this type from other countries and pass it off as antique. The door in the center is not sitting right and the legs do not belong on this style of sideboard.

I think it's a lot of $$$ for what it is as well.

Even before reading the other comments, my first thought was that I would guess it is not an antique. I can't tell you exactly why, but it just doesn't look right. It's attractive, but I doubt it is worth that price.

I am not much of an expert on antiques so my general tactic is that unless I am buying from a reputable dealer, I only pay what I would for a new piece. I would only buy off Craigslist if I were happy with the price assuming that the piece is not really an antique.

IME, reputable dealers will provide a receipt showing things like an estimation of the year the piece was made, wood species and other descriptions along with any history they know. They will also often guarantee to buy a piece back for its sale price.
