What type of wood are these cabinets made of? Also, do you know the stain color?

    These are the now discontinued Ikea Nexus in brown... we utilized them in our own kitchen. Sadly, they are no longer offered :(

    The bottom shelves in this photo do not appear to meet safety codes. In Canada, the bottom of the bottom shelf must be at least 18" from the countertop, to be so close to the stove. If you want them lower than 18", then they need to be 20" shorter in length )away from the stove) for those bottom shelves. Either lose the symmetry, or raise the bottom shelf. An inspector will notice this for resale, otherwise it is the homeowner's risk now while they enjoy their kitchen.
