I like the white tile. Do U have photos of the rest of the bathroom?

I do have some additional photos. How can I update this without a complete remodel? Here are more photos:

Scrub scrub scrub that grout and if you can't get it white have it replaced (just the grout). Change the drawer pulls and handles, paint, towels. Your bathroom is fine.

I think the white tile makes for a nice clean backdrop. It looks like a nice layout for a shower and bath. For the shower, try bleaching or replacing the caulk. (Soak some tissue paper in bleach and place the wads over the caulk and leave it to penetrate the silicone overnight, then remove and rinse in the morning). I might replace the faucet and the shower head. Maybe put a tropical plant like a fern or orchid on the ledge inside the shower.

If you don't like the white tile on the vanity and you can't replace the whole thing, try painting the cabinet or just replacing the top.

You could consider getting the tile reglazed. I
also second the recs of painting the vanity, walls, and changing hardware (and maybe faucets). Do try eBay and Amazon Warehouse for great deals on hardware and faucets!

You could get a professional to remove just one or 2 rows of the tiles and put in some mosaic tiles just to break it up. To keep my bathroom reno costs down, i used plain white subway tiles in the shower...but i went with a nicer tile for the rest of the bathroom floor since it was small. Here's a pic.

The silver mirror is ornate and the tile + handles and cabinet seem more Early American, from here. I wonder if more ornate silver handles would help the look of the cabinet-mirror area? Maybe I am not seeing the handles as they are. see handle photo

This is a beautiful bathroom. I would not change very much at all. I am sure the white tile is difficult to keep pristine. Maybe that is why you don't like it? Tilex for mold & mildew can help with mold problems. You are doing a wonderful job of keeping the glass clean. How do you manage that?

Zero white shirt cool but I prefer something colorful. .

I would repaint the walls, paint the vanity, change the hardware on the vanity (maybe something in cut glass style) and then look again. If I had the money I would replace the floor rather than the white tiles which look nice, tidy and clean (if you scrub the grout). I like the idea of painted floor tiles as per above.
