I would suggest painting the door casing (trim) black and then add a pop of bright color to the door.

Yes paint it black and paint the top fascia board a color of the sandstone, like a taupe grey, same with the foundation white. I would also color wash the brick, but that's just my personal taste.

Unfortunately it's to late to change the white aluminum siding on the house . I just re did the roof ,windows , front steps and siding of the house . At the time I did not think to make the aluminum black to match the windows . (My mistake )I am a new member in the Houzz forum . Had I known about this remarkable forum before ;I would have made different decisions . I will be painting the steps and the white concert walls around the house , I am opened to suggestions , I will place a Color chart , please feel free to state your option of Color that will match the bricks and roof.

Thank you for your suggestion on the front door paint Color , it's also a good idea to have the bricks cleaned as mentioned. What kind of contractor does that kind of job? How would I search that ?

I'm confused, where do you have aluminum siding? Regardless aluminum can be painted with a good 100% acrylic latex paint.

Hi,
Yes the fascia is aluminum ,as the top sides peaks of the house. All new, as you suggest they could be painted. I will start by painting the steps , the lower foundations of the house ( getting rid of the white) and changing that light fixture to something updated. Paint the door and then see if that white aluminum still stands out.will tackle that lastly because that will be an added cost.

You can probably just paint the bottom board that runs around the house and it would still look good without needing to paint all of the aluminum
