Master Bathroom Tile Conundrum

Am using Carrara marble vanity countertops, on a rustic dusty medium brown cabinet. I need help on the floor and shower tile - would like to carry the same tile throughout and am considering a light grey. However, so many greys look like concrete. Design style is transitional with some primative antique furnishings. 40+ hours in tiles shops, exhausted and not "in love" with anything.

Marble looks best with more marble. Otherwise it's best to keep it clean and simple with white, like the subway tile here. http://houzz.com/photos/2427911

I agree with W Brown and keep it classic. Your 40 plus hours is also a testament to grey not being the way to go. If you want to shake it up a bit then do that with the tile size or placement pattern. A slate look floor like pictured or a little lighter would be pretty.

I was thinking of the grey because I have a walk-in shower and wanted to run the same material on the floors and walls. Am thinking of a grey floor with white shower walls with the marble would work. Thank for you taking the time to comment.
