I like your color choices and would move on with the painting. To make the front of your house pop, you need to redo the landscaping. Pull up those hedge shrubs and put in a curving bed with mix of plants, some blooming. To do this find a local nursery that will help plan the changes, keeping in mind your soil, shading, and zone. They should be able to create a plan that you can DIY part if you wish or in stages.

I agree that your house looks great! Get new landscaping, new porch light, new post light, and new house numbers. It will look fabulous. Don't forget some pots of flowers. Add some pillows to your bench, too...:)

Thank you for the reassurance! I got nervous when I read a designer online say that you should stick with black and white with brick houses.

And the pic is actually from the real estate listing, so currently there is no bench (it was theirs) but I am searching for the right replacement. Wanted to decide on colors first :) And I have a few hanging baskets to add some color for now until I can get at that landscaping because I agree that those shrubs have to go!
