You can put them in a container with watered soil but you have to put the container in your fridge for three month to simulate a winter

They need 60-90 days of cold stratification. Even if you put them in the refrigerator to stimulate this, it would be August or September before you get them to sprout and grow. If you're in the northern hemisphere, you wouldn't have enough time for the growth actually mature before winter. I would just hang onto them until around January then stratify them, and plant them in Spring 2016.
