PM will spread but for toms and peppers(not sure about taters), they seem to shrug it off pretty well. Cucurbits, on the other hand, don't care for PM at all.

I would remove the clover though. Once PM digs its heels in, it's pretty stubborn as the years pass.

I think it's unlikely. Powdery mildew is caused by alot of different
pathogens. Pathogens that can be different genera, species, or strains
of the same species. And each of these can be very specific as to what
it attacks and lives on. So for example powdery mildew on peppers is
caused by diff organism than powdery mildew on clover. Symptoms may be
similar, or at least to the naked eye. So I'd suspect that "powdery
mildew" wouldn;t "jump" from a plant like clover to other veggies.

Why not just mow or clip the clover and let it regrow? At a foot high it's about due for a trim anyway.

I moved everything without the mildew yesterday. It rained 3.5" last night so it problem washed a lot of it off. I'll mow it as soon as it dries. I'll have to keep it mowed I guess.

Like I said powdery mildews are host-specific. There isn;t just one type of fungus that causes powdery mildew. If you see powdery mildew on your other veggies, don;t assume it spread from the clover....it's very likely a different organism. Also rain may help to wash off some spores, but the fungus is still there.
