Outdoor fireplace

I love the idea of an outdoor fireplace using the chimney attached to the house vs a freestanding outdoor fireplace. I assume there is also an indoor fireplace attached to this same chimney. My question is, does this increase cold air coming into the home via the outdoor opening more so than on a regular fireplace with just an opening on the top? My current indoor only fireplace is rather drafty, so I'm wondering if something like this design increases the draft inside? Or are 2 different flues used?

Thanks for your question. This outdoor fireplace does not have a fireplace on the inside. The chimney sits outside of the building envelope and therefore does not impact heat loss. While both fun and a great option, back to back fireplaces on exterior walls can impact heat loss.
