Advice on window treatment and art for my new "Blue Room" Before/After

Looking for some pointers on art to place on the large space behind the sofa. There are windows on 3 sides of this room and need help in figuring out what color and design the window treatment should be.

I love the blue!! It really brightens the room up!

For curtains I would see if I could find some tan with blue or brown pattern of some sort as matching the blue paint is going to be tough. You could also go with something similar to your pillows as far as color and pattern.

I would definitely put up a nice portrait oriented picture to the left of the windows on the back wall. Find something that appeals to you or reflects your interests. I think it's more important to go with art work that means something to you than to put up a piece based solely on trying to match the colors in the room. If you have other wood furniture in your living room, frame in it that tone of wood with a nice mat.

Love the blue walls, Marianna... I love blue so much...A nice piece of art would be nice to the left of window that reflects what you like. fixed drapery panels might be nice at each end of the windows. Others can speak to that better than I ....

Toletray - Thank you. I just need to find the right piece of art. As for panels, I am thinking basic grommet top 92" so it will be well above window with very little subtle pattern.

I love the blue and the room arrangement. The couch is pretty and I also love the armoire. Some curtains would probably be nice and perhaps a pretty wreath?
