Kadie, the potis in right now it displays the caudex pretty well, the angle I took the pic doesn't help, I will take a pic later shiwing more of the caudex, one thing.. maybe it is too low and I should raise it a little bit, wondering if I do it now it will disturb the plant and it will stop flowering, please someone advise

Yes, someone please advise. I myself have plants that need up-potting, but because they have flower buds I am reluctant to make any changes for fear of affecting them.

I don't repot when flowering for the same reason. I'm not really sure how it would affect it, but I don't want to find out, either.

I posted some pics of it last year or couple of years ago before they changed this forum, it wasn't as big as today, I just been following what they say on the adenium book, treat them as tropicals on growing season and as cactus on winter, so I keep on the moist side and they been growing faster and almost no water on winter

Roberto, your plant is gorgeous. I do not up-pot when my plants are in bloom. I did have a plant that the pot broke while in bloom and some of the buds dropped when I repotted it.

Very nice plant. I never up-pot while in bloom unless its an emergency, like a broken pot.

Haw808, I bough it at Walmart 5 years ago, I did Not repoted it for 3 years, just added osmocote, plenty of water on summer (we have super hot summers here in south Texas up to 115f), I use commercial cactus soil mix with regular lava stone (red pumix) and almost no water in winter

WhatI've noticed is that fat roots exposed grow slower than non exposed, I don't know if any one has notice it too, this roots grew faster when they were in the soil and I've noticed that in other adeniums too

I will experiment on some of my obesums by not exposing roots...we'll see what happens. Thanks for the info Roberto.
