Saw the large slab today, I think it's beautiful. Quite natural veins I think. Is not as white as I thought it would be, has brownish veins, not grey. Perfect with any timber accents I think. I'll be using it as you said, for bench tops and splashback. Just trying to match a 'white' for my cabinets.

Going to look at it on Saturday for backsplash/cladding kitchen walls and countertops. Did you get it? Do you like it?

Hey ladies I went with the Nuvo and I couldn't be happier it is EXACTLY right not so bold as the calcutta or the maximus but I wanted understated beauty something that would never go out of fashion. The Nuvo came out a lot whiter than the sample, but exactly the same as the showroom so I would recommend picking your cabinet colour at the showroom. We ended up going with Dulux Pebble Grey quarter for our cabinets it goes very well, although you could go with something a little more creamier to get it more exact. I renovated from yellow/beige base to white/grey base so wanted the cabinets a little crisper. Ill post photos tomorrow.

what about BM White Dove with Statuario Nuvo?

White Dove is pretty creamy/yellow... do you have a sample where you can compare the paint chip and quartz?

J.C. Thanks so much for posting photos. It is so helpful because as you said there are not very many photos out there. Your kitchen is beautiful! I've been trying to select a countertop and deciding among White Attica, Statuario Nuvo and Maximumus (I think - get the names confused!). I was also wondering whether it would work with Ben Moore White Dove which is my go-to color for just about everything, but it seems like it won't work because of the yellow undertones (which I don't see in my current kitchen painted White Dove but I do see on my house exterior, also White Dove!). Will check grey mist -- while I love grey cabinets I'm a bit concerned that it might feel dark in my house, but yours is light, bright and airy!

I do, will post tonight! I was looking at the same counters - I really loved the Nuvo most, but opted to go with the frosty based on the layout of our kitchen and consistency of the veining. I'm so glad I did - the frosty has a lot more character than appears in photos. It's not a bright white either, so I think it would go with White Dove. Our cabinets are a really light gray, similar to Benjamin Moore Light Pewter.

I know I scoured the internet looking for real life settings of Statuario Nuvo....I have to say my only complaint with these countertops as time has passed, is that we are tea drinkers and you have to be ever so careful not to get a tea stain on them as these are not as stain resistant as advertised. Tea and maybe coffee seem to be the worst offenders, and don't get a metal organic waste container as they leave a ring if you're not careful. If I had to do it all again I would maybe think about something that blends in with tea . I was really drawn to this particular countertop and just had to have it and I do enjoy the look. My parents have Cambria I believe and there's is a much shinier finish which looks more stain resistant to me. Anyway, good luck I know it is a tough decision and takes a lot of thought.

I will consider any products that are durable and look nice. Is there a neolith that looks like statuorio nuvo or frosty carina or any of the other products mentioned here? Thanks.

Do lots of research and don't believe the manufacturers, look up whatever company you are interested in and search how to remove stains or repair chips, from it and you will see all of the users complaints or none. Caesarstone has lots of staining complaints it seems.

Beautiful JC the counter and backsplash is gorgeous

This is an old thread but I am trying anyway. Our cabinets are SW Pure white and we are going with a handmade tile backsplash. I really want to use the Statuario Nuvo for our countertop, but all the samples I have are so small. I am scared it won't look right with how white the backsplash and cabinets are. Having said that, I don't want a super white countertop..I think the warmer color of the SN warms it up. The Statuario Nuvo also goes well with our floor tile (which has a pattern). Any advice on how the SN looks with a white subway tile and cabinet color......or will it look like I made a mistake?
