How should I dress this window?

The rest of the home has 2" wood eggshell blinds. I do need privacy as this window looks directly into the living room. I'm also considering painting the wall slate or light blue. But as for the window: curtains, blinds, shades? The theme is rustic beachy. Any help is appreciated.

Going with your beach theme, I would suggest off white or light grey sheer linen drapes. Floor to ceiling. A bit dramatic but will still let in light. Due to the night of the windows blinds would could be a pain to close and open. You can go with an automated silhouette sheer blinds but could get really pricey.
