Hi, have a 25' row of lavender that is looking great, but my understanding is that to keep it blooming late into the summer you should deadhead the flowers. My questions are when and how often you should deadhead it? Should you wait until the flowers are already wilted, just beginning to look wilted, or should they be cut even earlier than that? Also, how many times during a season should you deadhead them?

One more question (now that I think of it), is deadheading lavender an ongoing process where you surgically remove dying flowers or should you just cut them all at the same time? Obviously, I would prefer the latter.
