Potential Kitchen Design?

Hi guys! We are thinking of building a 11' 5" x 17' kitchen in a house which will be new construction. I have made a potential design of the kitchen on IKEA. We have been wanting a spacious kitchen but is a 17 ft wide kitchen is just the right size or possibly too big (we were thinking of decreasing the size a few feet)? Also what do you think of the layout as well as the number of cabinets in the kitchen (are there too many)? Overall, I would just like to know what you guys think of this kitchen design/layout and if you know any ways it could be improved! Design wise, were are thinking of white shaker cabinets with white marble-like quartz and a grey island in the centre with the same quartz counter. Also any ideas on what kind of backsplash would like nice? Thanks!

Also wondering since our ceilings will be 9ft, would cabinets that go all the way to the top look better or double stacked cabinets?

    Beautiful, spacious kitchen!

    Some insight:

15 foot width should be wide enough.

I would add a pantry after the fridge so that it would look flushed and not so visible from the side.

Perhaps you can put the oven and fride against each other on both sides

Also, You do not need so much space around the window.

    Good Luck!

Since you want an island, go for 17'. Then you would have 2' on each side for base cabinets, 3.5' on each side for walkways, leaving room for a 6' island.

The lack of adequate space to the left of the sink would drive me crazy. All in all, the plan is good.

I think that I would want a second row at top of smaller (some with glass), cabinets. Using the ones with glass for large colorful serving pieces or art glass. They would be lighted with LED strips. The ones w/o glass would be to hold large items not used regularly.

Needs more space near the sink, not so much near the cooktop. Try bringing the the cabinets off the countertop to the left of the sink, up to normal height. Move sink over a foot or two to the left. Imagine you are prepping, cooking, then cleaning up.

You need space next to the fridge to set down a bag of groceries or a plate of food you just got out of the fridge.

Too much space between vital appliances. I like your plans for colors, cabinet styles & counter. I prefer a one piece 48" range with two ovens, but this is because I've never had a cooktop & separate wall ovens. I would go with off white or lightly marbled porcelain subway tiles laid in a running bond either vertical or horizontal pattern. What are the floors to be? I also like islands with counter height seating, with perhaps a small vegetable sink for prep. If I could afford it I would go with induction for cooktop. (special pans though).

It's best to be able to move easily from fridge to sink to stove. So... Can you switch sink and stove and move double oven to where hutch is? Or move fridge to where the hutch area is on left of sink? I think the double oven/ fridge area looks a little bunched up as it is.

In our condo's multi purpose room, our kitchen is similar, but the sink & ovens are reversed. Also, we do not have an island. The layout works very well with several people in the kitchen.

That wall oven needs to be next to the stove. The sink and dishwasher in the island. Sink and dishwasher facing the fridge, but doesn't have to be directly across from each other though.
