Baby girls nursery...need help with chair

I am not close to finishing the nursery, but I am stuck on the chair. My walls are gray owl by Bejamin Moore, my crib is a distressed white and my dresser is bright coral. I haven't gotten my bedding in yet, but my rail cover for the crib is white and gray piped with coral. The gray on the rail cover and skirt is a shade darker than the walls.

I bought this chair but am not loving it....any suggestions?

I like your chair and I prefer the clean lines over some of the options in the photo above. The color looks to work. Have you tried styling it a bit? I always found a lumbar pillow to be a must in my kids nurseries. I might try adding a pillow that incorporates your coral and consider draping a throw blanket or one of those small shearling/sheepskin throws over the back.

I also forgot to mention that my husband would like it to be a recliner, which also limits my options.

Here's just one of many examples of styling your chair a bit. With the exception of setting the stuffed animal aside this would be perfectly functional for sitting once the baby actually arrives.

If it's comfortable, I would keep it and just add a lovely mohair throw over the back and a cute little pillow. M.Stewart also has some really cute flamingo sheets.

Dear Mom to Be! I have four teen boys but am sitting here flashing back to the days when I had four under four, with twins in the middle. The nursery was cute but it was practical. I was so tired all the time that a pretty little pillow and throw for over the rocker would have quickly found themselves tucked away never to be seen again. If you are not 'loving the chair' then while you can still leave the house without a diaper bag, go out shopping for a chair you will absolutely adore. I wish you all the happiness in the world. PS it is not my intention at all to be confrontational!
