Do the Fire Light Hardy Hydrangea's take full sun or shade?

    Panicle hydrangeas like Fire Light are the most sun-tolerant type of hydrangea, but they do tolerate some shade as well. In cold climates, we recommend a minimum of 6 hours of sun each day for best performance; in warm climates, 4 hours in the morning is best. If you plant them in more shade than that, you won't have as many flowers and you won't get as intense color.
