Need help making this house more modern

I would like to paint , replace shingles with something different, accent the red brick wall with different fake brick, and tye in the garage with it. I have no idea how and I want it to look more modern/classy/hint of country. Can I do something to the windows to dress them up? Its in a private forest like setting
