My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    Dear janet4929,

    Thank you for contacting us. The hood is designed to fit 8 to 8.5" ceiling in order to have a ideal distance 29" to 31" between hood and stove. However, some customers were able to trim the lower chimney for this model in order to have the ideal distance between hood and stove for lower ceiling.
