You have to take the babies out of that bottle and repot them in a an orchid growing medium.

Care of the little babies might be helped if you have a name tag, but i suspect that there will be just something like "Oncidium Orchid".

Skytiger, Interesting that someone is selling seedlings in a flask. They are years from blooming, and without the proper tools, most people would tear them to pieces attempting to get them out of the bottle.

I would simply very carefully break the bottle, and take the pants out. Wash them carefully and thoroughly to get all the mold and agar (the gray looking "jello" like stuff they are planted in off the plants and roots. You might add a small amount of fungicide to the wash to insure the mold does not come back.

Pot the plants in a fine (seedling) grade mix if you can find it, or grind some regular orchid bark mix up until it is about 1/4 the size it was when you started. Start plants in 2 1/2" plastic pots, and increase size as growth requires. Keep the tiny plants slightly damp all the time...water just before they become dry.... Fertilize with water soluble Fertilizer half strength, two or three times a month. If they are Oncidums, Medium light (light shadow when hand Is passed between plant and sun)--no direct sun--until the plants are at least two years older, then you can slowly increase light a bit.

Put them all in the same pot, potted fairly closely together. Jargon word compot. Do you have a better name tag than just Oncidium.

Any moss or anything on top to help with moisture?
