HI -- Whoops -- I am afraid it is going to be a do-over . You may have to use a re-mover and scrap it down . When you do this and when you start to re-paint ... re-move the hardware first for a cleaner finish . Sorry for the extra work you have to do . Or you could take it to a paint shop and they can do all the nasty work for you and it all depends how much you want to pay for it . Very pretty paint color .

Primers take a while to cure - can be up to a week - and if the tape is painted to the item, it will pull the paint off like you experienced. Any tape that is on after the paint dries needs to be scored with a razor blade.

At the hardware store, there is a small metal 'box cutter' that will hold a straight razor blade. The 'box cutter' keeps you from cutting your fingers. You can use the blade to make a 'cut' between the wood and glass. Then use the razor to scrape off the painter tape. It won't be perfect, but it will remove the painted tape. If you're left with cut wood: Sand very lightly with fine sand paper. Then use the smallest paint brush possible (like the type you buy in a craft shop) and carefully repaint the wood.
