Where are the gutters?

Love your work on this house. We are just begining to investigate metal roofs. I love them my husband needs convincing. Yours is the first he's seen he likes, I love it. We both are wondering where are the gutters on metal roofs. I think I see them on the upper roof but they seem to be missing on the lower hanging roof. What prevents run off?
