Give them to habitat for humanity restore. They usually pick up too.

I'm not familiar with the Maryland area, but in our area (the Midwest), the Habitat for Humanity Restore will take stuff like that. Good luck!

Yes, they sell them in their stores and use the money for Habitat for Humanity. You could also put them on craigslist.

You could have advertised them on Retrorenovation's forum -- someone would probably drive cross country to buy them from you -- or have them repainted / powder coated in a color you like. http://retrorenovation.com/forums/
