NEED HELP FOR MY KITCHEN

Hello, I'm redesigning my kitchen. I have the cabinets, backsplash and countertops picked out but I'm having a huge dilemma with my floors. I'm going to have grey cabinets with white baroque backsplash and quartz (marble look) countertops. What do you recommend for tiled flooring? I really want herringbone marble but I also know it's very high maintenance. HELP!!!

They aren't out of the question but my husband tends to get everything wet including the floor when he's in the kitchen and I'm just afraid it would ruin the floors.

We have hardwoods in our kitchen with a dog and 2 toddlers and it's not an issue. I would reconsider that as it would add some warmth to your grey and white color palate.
