We use a wood called Beetle Kill or Blue board. It's a pine in Colorado that has been killed by a beetle. The blueish vanning in the wood is caused by the beetle eating it's insides which give it that unique colouring. Make sure to use the natural stain we used to keep that unique look it gives! You won't be disappointed be it's beauty as well as the price!!
