Hi! We have used a Nantahala variation, the Broadcreek (also Garrell) . We originally liked Nantahala 08085 but too small for us! Our builder used the basic ideas that Garrell used but we changed the deck area, put the keeping room as screened porch, changed pantry size and location, added upstairs for bonus, sitting room and bath, also 3 car garage. Changed side for guest bedrooms and pantry, in others words , he knew our lot and What we wanted and changed it to our specifications! And for the same prices, $2500 so far we had 5
change of drawings, We got the price , and drawing up finals. After that we pay 50 for each time we change .they have to change a certain percentage to avoid copyright laws.

We are very pleased and have meet 4 or 5 times with builder re plans. We do some of it by email but prefer in person. He even came to our house as was near we vacationed!

Hope this helps in your quest. We just love it and can't wait to build in the mts!

I did get ideas from. houzz and Pinterest and anything I could google on safari and other search engines. There is one gal that posted pix of a amicola on the garden web which is now on Pinterest.or large Nantahala

Hope this helps

Ps we are having master closet and pantry professionally done, not by builder.

Luckily my hubby was an engineer and worked with plans! Our basement will be wine cellar, train room and storage,
We also added elevator!

Our new build is complete. A variation of the Tranquility.

@Christy I love your photos. Your home looks wonderful. Where are you in the Atlanta area? We will be building in Woodstock, just as soon as Mike Garrell finishes our plan.

We are building the Amicalola plan. I found picture on Oak Springs Grandfathers Homes that are vey helpful.

Great find, Judy! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Judy! Even though we are built a Nantahala with some features of Tranquility I found the closet pictures and bath pictures to be valuable resource-and better yet you can save an image!
